Job Description

The Instrument Engineer is responsible for executing and supervising instrument maintenance, testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities within Oil & Gas facilities. The role ensures the reliability and performance of field instrumentation, process control systems, and associated equipment while maintaining compliance with company procedures and HSE standards. Responsibilities Perform preventive, predictive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of instrumentation systems. Execute instrument loop checking, loop testing, functional testing, and commissioning activities. Perform installation, inspection, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of field instruments. Carry out hook-up works for pressure, temperature, flow, and level instruments. Calibrate and maintain transmitters, switches, gauges, analyzers, control valves, and valve positioners.
