Instructor – Nursing – Continuing Education Contract (Palliative Care Course for Nurses)

Position: Instructor for Palliative Care Course for Nurses (NURS-1717). Contract dates: 08/17/2026 to 06/30/2027. Contract rate: $60 per hour. Contract hours per student: 4 hours and 1 hour of preparation per intake.

Course dates: September 8 – November 27, 2026; January 4 – March 25, 2027. Location: Saskatchewan Polytechnic, Regina Campus. Bargaining unit: Faculty Association.

Responsibilities

  • Provide online theory instruction, mentorship, support, assessment, evaluation, and timely feedback to students on the required learning management system.
  • Review course content to ensure content links and resources are updated two weeks prior to the course start date; be flexible and responsive to students' learning needs using appropriate methodologies within an online learning environment.
