Selkirk College seeks a part-time instructor to teach English/Indigenous Studies, focusing on Indigenous Voices in Canadian Literature for the Fall 2026 term. This role emphasizes in-person instruction and an engaging teaching approach.
The successful candidate will provide 200-level courses that explore Indigenous writers and their responses to colonialism. Responsibilities include creating a positive learning environment, evaluating student progress, and delivering constructive feedback. Preference is given to candidates with Indigenous ancestry and community ties, promoting an inclusive educational setting.
