Instructional Resource Teacher (Maternity)

Full-time term Instructional Resource Teacher. Duties to commence September 8, 2026 to June 25, 2027 or until incumbent on leave returns (maternity).

Responsibilities

As an Instructional Resource Teacher (IRT), you will support a diverse range of learners by developing and delivering individualized programming. Your work will focus on meeting the unique needs of students through enrichment, academic intervention, social‑emotional development, and building accessibility and adaptive skills.

Successful candidates will engage professionally with colleagues, families, and communities; demonstrate planning and implementation of effective and responsive teaching and learning practices; provide evidence of shaping a safe and positive learning environment; demonstrate a love of learning and ability to build learner and leadership capacity; and provide evidence and understanding of the impact of effective assessment practices.
