Overview
The SHS Instructional Designer is responsible for supporting instructors and departments in the School of Health Sciences in addressing complex teaching and learning issues related to instructional design as it relates to traditional, hybrid, and online courses. The Instructional Designer plays a key role as a resource in designing and developing high-quality support resources including training guides, videos, and on-demand options, to address day-to-day faculty needs and produce best-in-class and interactive exercises that support student success. This person will engage in ongoing research to identify the tools and assets to ensure faculty are able to engage in best-practice in their pedagogy. In addition, the Instructional Designer is responsible for data collection and analysis, compliance audits, maintaining certifications for all faculty, and supervising procedures and requirements of faculty aligned in the SHS Technology Policy.
