Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Installation Electrician for solar installations, based in Durban, with some flexibility for remote work. The Installation Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems, wiring, and equipment. Daily tasks will include working with electrical blueprints, ensuring compliance with safety standards, performing system tests, and diagnosing faults in electrical system and issuing certificates of compliance. The role involves coordinating with team members and clients to ensure successful project completion.
Qualifications
Proficiency in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair
IE Wiremans card and registered with DOL
Knowledge of electrical safety protocols, wiring regulations, and equipment troubleshooting
