Job Duties & Responsibilities Visually inspect raw materials, in-progress goods, and finished products Use calipers, gauges, and micrometers to measure products Compare inspection results to quality standards Document findings in logs, charts, and forms Suggest adjustments to production processes or corrective actions Provide feedback to supervisors and other staff Ensure corrective actions are implemented and conduct follow-up inspections Work with other departments to improve quality and safety Position is responsible for in process inspection, final inspection, control of nonconforming material, and record keeping within the Quality Department. Read and interpret part prints and air/electric schematics.
