Inpatient Medical Coder

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inpatient Medical Coder to join our Health Information Management team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inpatient coding, a solid understanding of medical terminology and disease processes, and the ability to ensure accurate and compliant coding for inpatient records based on official coding guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate of a medical allied course (e.g., Nursing, Medical Technology, Physical Therapy, etc.)
• Minimum of 2 years of full-time inpatient coding experience
• OR
• Minimum of 1 year and 6 months of inpatient coding experience plus 6 months of formal coding training
