Inpatient Medical Coder

We are looking for an Inpatient Medical Coder to join our team and support accurate invoice review and documentation.

You must have CPC or CIC (AAPC) or CCS (AHIMA) certification.

Applicants without these certifications cannot be considered.

Qualifications

• CPC/CIC (AAPC) or CCS (AHIMA) – Required
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient medical coding experience
• Able to use job-related software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good problem-solving skills and sound judgment
• High integrity, dependable, and results-driven

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits and coding reviews for accuracy
• Assign and sequence PCS and ICD-10 codes
• Follow Medicare policies and coding guidelines
• Work independently using assigned work queues
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism
