Job Description
Obsurv Technologies is looking for an IT Support Technician for an on-site placement reporting to the director.
Position involves handling first-line support calls and providing telephonic and in-person to end users.
Hours: 07:00 to 16:00, Monday to Friday.
Skillsets required:
Microsoft Desktop OS - Windows 7, 8, 10, 11
Microsoft Server OS - Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022
Microsoft Office - all versions
Microsoft Office 365 administration
Google Workspace administration
Basic understanding of virtualisation principles
Understanding of Layer 1 - 3 networking
Working knowledge of Sophos Firewalls advantageous
Working knowledge of Microsoft Hyper-V advantageous
Working knowledge of IP PBX platforms advantageous
Working knowledge of Managed Platform advantageous
Must be able to communicate effectively, in English.
Must be able to follow procedure, and document accordingly.
