IT Security Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in system vulnerabilities management (VM) and penetration testing
  • Coordinate with system owner for the remediation plan
  • Escalate suspicious activities to senior official; Support investigations of security events
  • Documents findings and contribute to remediation efforts

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Basic knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, SMB, HTTPS, TLS)
  • Familiarity with endpoint security tools (e.g., Microsoft Defender, McAfee)
  • Understanding of firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection / prevention systems
  • Exposure to SIEM tools (Splunk)
