Job Description

  • Assist in implementing IHHN infection control policies, SOPs, and standard precautions across all departments.
  • Ensure compliance with hand hygiene, PPE, isolation precautions, sterilization, and environmental cleaningprotocols; conduct infection risk assessments for clinical and support areas.
  • Conduct surveillance of HAIs including, Surgical Site Infections (SSI), Catheter-Associated UTIS (CAUTI), Central LineAssociated Bloodstream Infections (CLABSI) and Ventilator-Associated Pneumonia (VAP).
  • Coordinate with microbiology for culture trends and antimicrobial resistance patterns.
  • Analyze infection data, trends, and outbreak indicators.Coordinate with clinical, microbiology, nursing, and housekeeping teams during outbreaks.
