Infants' Daycare Worker
Location: 999 Goldstream Ave, Victoria, BC V9A 2A8
Salary: $24.00 to $25.00 per hour (negotiable)
Hours: 30-40 hours per week
Employment: Permanent, full‑time, on‑site (no remote work). Start: as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Bathe, diaper and feed infants and toddlers
- Maintain daycare equipment
- Lead activities such as telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest
- Encourage children to express creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity
- Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
- Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
- Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioural problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisor
