JOB SUMMARY:
The Industrial Sewing Machine Operator I, under the leadership of the Manufacturing Manager and/or Supervisor will support the process to satisfy new and current customer demands for Toyota vehicles. The Industrial Sewing Machine Operator 1) is responsible for surging pre-cut patterns and able to sew pieces together to form complete parts/mats 2) operate an industrial sewing/serging machine in a manufacturing environment 3) measuring and cutting canvas to specs 4) operate production equipment, handheld hardware and tools as necessary 5) responsible for using a tape measure 6) responsible for handling, positioning and moving materials through the sewing and other manufacturing operations 7) supports other manufacturing activities as required.
