Industrial Relations Specialist

About the role

Working as part of the Industrial Relations team, the IR Advisor supports the delivery of priority outcomes requiring specialist advice. Working closely with the Senior IR Specialists, the IR Advisor will assist and where directed coordinate key projects.

In this temporary role, the IR Advisor will focus on a large-scale project reviewing current employment processes to ensure legislative and Modern Award compliance, with a focus on record-keeping and payroll compliance practices. This will require aptitude in Australian Employment Law, Industrial Practices, as well as HR and Payroll systems.

Beyond this, this role also offers an opportunity to gain exposure to broader business-as-usual industrial relations matters through cyclical and ad hoc P&C activities where appropriate.
