About Ocean Steel
Incorporated in 1955, Ocean Steel services several markets, including Atlantic Canada, the Eastern United States, Bermuda and the Caribbean. Although they specialize in fabricating and erecting structural steel for buildings and bridges, they also manufacture and install platework, such as breechings, stacks, ducts, penstocks, process & storage tanks and custom process-equipment. Ocean Steel’s two New Brunswick plants include the original location in Saint John, as well as the York Steel Plant in Fredericton, which was acquired by Ocean Steel in 1995.
Responsibilities
- Prep steel beams for paint
- Spray paint steel beams
- Working outside in Shipping yard
- Finding and marking steel beams to be loaded for shipping
- Using overhead crane to steel onto load trucks
- Assist with taping areas
- Snow Removal
Requirements
- Completion of high school
