About the Role

The Industrial Painter / Blaster is responsible for carrying out blasting and protective coating activities on fabricated steel components to ensure products meet required specifications, quality standards and production timelines. Working within the paint and blast bay, the position involves preparing surfaces, operating specialised equipment, applying coatings, and performing inspections while maintaining a strong focus on safety, efficiency and workmanship. The role also supports broader workshop, yard and dispatch operations as required, including material handling using overhead cranes and forklifts (where authorised). Close collaboration with production teams is essential to ensure workflow continuity, along with accurate record-keeping and adherence to organisational procedures.
