Job Description

Summary of Duties:

The Industrial Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in our skilled technical manufacturing operations in Sycamore, IL. This position is responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of production and plant facility equipment. Additionally, the Maintenance Technician will assist the manager with ordering parts, standardizing components, and maintaining repair parts inventory.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing production equipment according to production specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards.

  • Disassemble equipment, diagnose issues, rebuild, and replace defective parts such as motors, gearboxes, bearings, and electrical components.

  • Perform repairs on blenders, fillers, conveyors, and other production equipment.
