Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As part of your duties, you will be required to:

• Interpret plans, drawings and technical documentation for various industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment (lathe, milling machine, CNC machine, sheet metal equipment, heat treatment, etc.).
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on various equipment using specialized tools.
• Participate in the design, manufacture and optimization of equipment.
• Perform work at heights (aerial work platform, elevating platform) and in confined spaces.
• Use electrical, pneumatic or manual tools depending on the operations to be performed.
• Use measuring instruments such as micrometer, vernier and caliper.

Requirements

• DEC in Industrial Maintenance Technology or DEC in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in maintenance of production machinery (an asset).
