Job Description

New Venture Safety Services is currently looking for qualified Industrial Firefighters. Ideal candidates will have previous relevant experience within the oil and gas industry.

Qualifications

  • Prior H2S Supervisory and Oil and Gas Experience would be an asset
  • Valid H2S Alive Certificate
  • Valid First Aid Ticket
  • Firefighting training must meet NFPA 1001 and/or 1081 standards
  • Competent in operating fire pumps and all associated fire equipment
  • Valid Class 5 drivers license and current (within 30 days) drivers abstract
  • Valid Class 3 driver’s license with air brakes would be an asset
  • Operating company equipment in a safe manner
  • Physically capable of working in adverse environments and conditions
  • Experience in the use of breathing apparatus and gas detection equipment
