Industrial Engineer

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

The position is primarily responsible for planning and preparation of production schedules and ensures that products are made efficiently and timely to meet shipment requirements and production forecast. The Production Planner checks for planning errors, recommends corrective action, and develops new programs to improve the production control systems.

Production Scheduling

Manage the production scheduling process to align with forecasted demand, production capacity, and shipping deadlines.

Material and Inventory Management

Manage inventory of raw materials and finished products. Determine requirements for the supply of raw materials, ensure proper planning for raw material mix to maximize production output, and minimize work‑in‑process inventory. Allocate work‑in‑process into different product lines to meet commitments and build sales inventories.
