In this role as an Indirect Procurement Manager for our Bio-Rad Hercules, CA location you will:
Leads a group of commodity specialists spanning across Americas region with multiple sites within the region. Oversees the team that serves as the primary purchasing reps at each manufacturing site and will handle escalation of issues with suppliers. Lead a team of Commodity Specialists. Manage workload and provide coaching to the team for both strategic and transactional tasks. Manages stakeholder engagement and partnerships. Implements value improvement opportunities. Participates in meetings and discussions with procurement leadership regarding team activities, policy and procedure improvements. Implements Global strategies at Regional level to increase supplier performance, capability development, capacity management and cost/quality improvements for supply chain vendors.
