Elevate community engagement as an Indigenous Relations Senior Communications Advisor with AECL. Foster partnerships with Indigenous nations and stakeholders while executing strategic communications initiatives.
In this critical communications role, you will work collaboratively to build relationships across various groups, including government departments and local municipalities. You'll design meetings and events while adapting engagement strategies to meet evolving community needs. Your expertise in Indigenous relations will guide outreach and influence stakeholder collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build strong relationships with Indigenous nations and communities
• Plan and organize strategic meetings and events
• Produce government reports and briefing materials
• Analyze and adapt communication strategies
• Identify emerging issues and offer improvement recommendations
Requirements:
• Degree in Indigenous Studies, Public Policy, or related field
