Location: Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario (office preferred). Remote work from other Ontario locations.

Start Date: September 7 2026.

Contract: 16 weeks, 37.5 hours per week; possibility of extension.

Rate of Pay: $21.40 per hour.

Job Summary

The Indigenous Partnerships Intern will support the Invasive Species Centre’s work with Indigenous communities and organizations by helping build and maintain respectful relationships, supporting community engagement activities, and assisting with the integration of Indigenous knowledge and priorities into invasive species programming. The candidate will help promote access to grant opportunities, provide support to funded Indigenous projects, contribute to event planning and internal communications, and participate in regional travel for meetings, workshops, and partnership activities as needed.
