Become a sessional instructor at Six Nations Polytechnic and teach Indigenous languages. Help students engage with Cayuga and Mohawk heritage through language.
At SNP, we are looking for sessional instructors to teach within our Bachelor and Honours Bachelor of Arts in Ogwehoweh Languages programs. Your role will encompass preparing and delivering lectures, crafting course materials, and evaluating student performance. We value candidates with backgrounds in Indigenous knowledge and community expertise, as well as language proficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct 12 three-hour lectures per course
• Develop and post course materials and assessments
• Facilitate student assignments and grading processes
• Provide academic support during office hours
• Collaborate with faculty during meetings and training
