Become the backbone of the Apatisiwin program at Kingston Native Centre. This full-time role focuses on empowering Indigenous communities through employment support and education.
As the Apatisiwin Program Coordinator, you will deliver impactful, culturally safe services while guiding community members toward their employment, training, and education objectives. This full-time, fixed-term position involves coordinating the day-to-day operations of the program, providing one-on-one coaching, and facilitating workshops. You'll be instrumental in developing individualized action plans and nurturing partnerships to foster meaningful employment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate delivery of the Apatisiwin Employment Program
• Guide clients with job preparation and skills development
• Assess client eligibility for funding and support
• Collaborate with community partners and employers
• Maintain accurate case notes and statistical data
