IMI Assistant/IMI Inspector

Job summary

Performs inspection of raw materials and packaging materials. Coordinates with other departments regarding quality assurance status of incoming materials.

Responsibilities

• Check the completeness of delivery documents for incoming raw materials (DR, PO, SDS, COA, and other certificates) and packaging materials (DR, PO, and other certificates).
• Provide assistance to the QA Analyst assigned in the IMI Laboratory in conducting analysis of raw materials and inspection of packaging materials.
• Ensure proper operating conditions of test and measuring equipment during tests/analyses.
• Ensure availability by monitoring inventory of chemicals used in the laboratory.
• Prepare IMI inspection reports and submit them to the QA Analyst for review and approval.
• Participate in root cause/problem-solving analysis involving the IMI Laboratory.
