Ignition Developer (SCADA)

Design, develop, and deploy applications using Ignition 7.9 / 8.1 (Perspective & Vision)

Develop and maintain custom scripts using Python (Jython)

Configure tags, UDTs, alarm pipelines, and historian modules

Build real-time dashboards, reporting systems, and alarm management solutions

Integrate PLCs and RTUs (ROC, TotalFlow) with SCADA system

Implement and support MQTT architectures (where applicable)

Troubleshoot communication, performance, and gateway‑related issues

Work with MS SQL Server for database management and reporting

Provide ongoing system enhancements and production support

Collaborate effectively with automation, production, and IT teams

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years of hands‑on Ignition development experience

Strong experience with:

• Ignition Perspective & Vision modules
• Gateway scripting
• Proficiency in Python scripting
