Short Description:

  • This position will work on tax modernization in the platform's operations team as a part of the scheduling and automations team.

  • Tax modernization is a multi-year project focused on modernizing the IT infrastructure and applications for the NYS tax department.

  • One of the key components of that is modernizing the day-to-day operations through scheduling and automation.                                

 
Day to day tasks:
Primary Responsibilities

  • Administer, maintain, and support the IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS) environment on IBM mainframe systems.

  • Monitor daily workload processing to ensure scheduled jobs, job streams, and dependencies execute successfully and within established service levels.

  • Configure, schedule, and manage batch workloads across enterprise applications and platforms.
