Job Description- Senior IBM MQ Administrator (4+ Years Experience)

Administrator Summary: Manages, maintains, and optimizes existing IBM MQ messaging infrastructure. Ensures the high availability, performance, and security of mission-critical messaging systems.

Provides expert-level operational support and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the day-to-day administration and support of complex, existing IBM MQ environments.

2. Enforce and maintain established MQ security policies and procedures, including authentication, authorization (OAM), and encryption (TLS/SSL).

3. Monitor system performance, conduct capacity planning, and proactively address potential bottlenecks within the existing infrastructure.

4. Maintain and execute established disaster recovery plans for the MQ infrastructure, including backup/restore procedures and failover testing.
