Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot hydraulic equipment and systems
  • Test equipment for proper performance and compliance with regulations
  • Understand documents related to Hydraulic Schematic P ID drawings
  • Understand nitrogen kit and pre-charging of piston type accumulators
  • Understand bladder type accumulators
  • Conduct precise troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic components including pumps, motors, valves, and cylinders

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in marine (dredging)/oil and gas industries as a hydraulic technician
  • Diploma in mechanical, hydraulic engineering, or any related technical field
  • Excellent knowledge of mechanical systems and components
  • Physically fit and willing to work onboard vessels or in shipyards
  • Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and service manuals
