Hydraulic Punching Machine Operator

• Operates and set-up dies on Hydraulic Punching Machines, Iron Worker Machine, Press Machine, Shearing Machine
• Reads and interprets drawing and punch the required holes
• Checks and measures completed works to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring tapes, micrometers and calipers
• Coordinates with maintenance department for the necessary preventive maintenance to ensure machine is always performing up to its capabilities
• Can operate various steel fabrication machines like, shearing machine, Iron worker, press machine, drilling machine as he may be asked to operate occasionally
• Performs regular good housekeeping duties on his area
• Performs regular and preventive maintenance on the machines, making sure the machine is in good condition at all times
• Ensures company rules and safety procedures are being followed
