Our client in Maputo is looking for a Hydraulic Crane Operator to join their team within the Mining Sector.


Responsibilities

  • Control levers and pedals to lift, position, and transport heavy loads with precision.

  • Conduct pre-operation checks on hydraulic systems, cables, brakes, and safety devices.

  • Calculate lifting capacities, angles, and weight limits to prevent tipping or overloading.

  • Use standard hand signals or radios to coordinate movements with signalpersons and ground teams.

  • Handle routine servicing like lubrication and report major mechanical faults promptly.

    • Requirements

  • Valid crane operator license or certification (such as NCCCO or local equivalent).

  • Minimum of 2 to 5 years of verified crane operating experience in construction, mining, or industrial settings.
