Technical Manager – Fire and Gas Systems
12-Month Contract – Outside IR35
Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite (Derby)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager – Fire and Gas Systems to support gas turbine installations, leading the specification, integration, compliance, and commissioning of fuel gas detection, oil mist detection, and fire detection/suppression systems within turbine enclosures and existing fire protection infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities

Lead requirements validation and technical specification for gas detection, oil mist detection, and fire detection systems.
*
Conduct risk and hazard assessments (HAZOP, risk mitigation).
*
Collaborate with enclosure design suppliers to optimise sensor placement and minimise stagnation zones.

Oversee supplier selection, certification, installation, commissioning, and system validation.
