HVAC Technician

We are looking for an experienced HVAC Technician to be part of our dedicated team that is passionate in consistently delivering exceptional service to our valued clients in Gisborne.

This is a permanent full-time role with a guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week and up to 60 hours per week, with weekend work required.

Competitive rate from $40 to $45 depends on skills and experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and servicing on refrigerated trailer units, primarily Carrier and Schmitz Cargobull systems, in line with company and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration faults using appropriate tools, testing equipment, and OEM diagnostic interfaces.
• Carry out timely repairs to minimise downtime and ensure trailers remain operational, safe, and compliant with cold‑chain requirements.
