Summary About the Position: Serve as a Human Resources Specialist (Labor Relations) within the Headquarters US European Command (HQ EUCOM), Directorate of Manpower and Personnel (J-1), Human Capital Division. This role provides technical expertise and leadership in developing, evaluating, and recommending foreign and US labor policy initiatives, projects, and implementation of Department of Defense (DoD) policy and legislative proposals related to civilian personnel management and labor programs. Responsibilities Contribute to the development of country-wide classification and pay systems, overall U.S. Forces HR administrative policy and procedures, and labor negotiation strategies. Act as a mediator and arbitrator on joint subcommittees, resolving differing viewpoints and building consensus among European theater component command and Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) activity representatives.
