Responsibilities

:

  • Report to the Mill Manager.

    • Supervise and guide two direct reports.

    • Oversee administration of employee pension and benefit programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

    • Manage relationships with third-party providers (e.g., insurance companies, pension distributors) to ensure efficient service delivery.

    • Participate in the review and enhancement of benefit plans to align with organizational goals and employee needs.

    • Provide an effective Human Resource service and support to the mill (Newsmill) in the following areas: Personnel, and Site Protection, Training, Labour / Employee Relations, Salary / Benefits Administration, and Public Relations, while ensuring compliance with company principles and guidelines, the Collective Agreement and all applicable legislation.
