Purpose of Position
In this role you will be responsible for all aspects of maintenance and breakdowns on Hub sortation equipment from both a mechanical and electrical perspective. As an Apprentice you will also undergo an Engineering qualification and on the job training.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with repairs of any electrical and mechanical issue within the Hub along with the engineers.Carrying out servicing work and ensuring it is % completed and on schedule. Using “The Hub” system and ensuring the servicing work is up to date on the system Using SCADA systems to aid fault finding of all Hub sortation systems.Adhering to and promotion of health & safety policies (including COSHH).Liaising with other departments including Security, Operations, IT Continuous improvement of “The Hub” with regard to adding photos, drawings, guides and descriptions.Reporting of any i...
