Position Summary
Working under direct supervision, coordinate the implementation of safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure workplace safety and health. Develop and assist in leading safety communications that follows regulatory practices/rules, recognizes and reports hazards, initiates and promotes a World Class safety culture.
Duties And Responsibilities
Prepare safety and hazard reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.Maintain safety statistics and submit reports of performance as requested; prepare and issue reports as required by local/federal agencies.Coordinate and participate in emergency response to spills of chemicals and other hazardous waste.Assist in advising employees on the requirements for the effective use of safety plans, procedures and guidelines.Ensure proper maintenance and inspection of facility safety equipment, such as, PPE, fire suppression, respi...
