Overview

Our client is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to oversee recruitment, support workforce planning, maintain HR policies, and coordinate training programs. Reporting to the Office Manager, the HR Generalist will also provide guidance to employees and leadership on employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead recruitment efforts and manage employee onboarding and offboarding
  • Ensure compliance with Alberta Employment Standards
  • Assist with benefits administration and compensation reviews
  • Prepare HR metrics, reporting, and support budget tracking

Qualifications

  • Experience in a law firm environment is required
  • Strong knowledge of Alberta Employment Standards
  • 3–5 years of HR experience within a law firm setting
  • CPHR designation is an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
