Job Description
Day To Day Responsibilities:
- The HR Business Advisor will manage a portfolio of clients (gradually ramping up to ~60 over time), serving as their primary HR contact for advisory support. Clients will reach out directly with HR-related questions and challenges, requiring timely, thoughtful, and compliant guidance. The role involves advising on topics such as employee leaves, accommodations (e.g., human rights/ergonomic requests), compliance questions (e.g., vacation pay), performance management, and general HR best practices.
- The HRBA must be able to navigate ambiguity, research legislation as needed, and clearly articulate recommendations to clients—many of whom may be under pressure or frustrated.
