Job Purpose

The HR Advisor will operate within a business partnering model to provide high‑quality, professional HR advice and support to front‑line managers across the organisation. The role is responsible for guiding managers through a wide range of employment matters—including casework, change management, employee relations, and organisational development—while ensuring all actions align with employment legislation, council policies, and best practice. By understanding service needs, the HR Advisor will assess risks, support effective decision‑making, and coach managers to strengthen their people‑management capability.
