Housekeeping Supervisor

Duties:

• Inspects all rooms after they have been cleaned to ensure that all hotel policies and standards have been met
• Approves rooms for occupancy and ensures room is 100%
• Notifies Maintenance of any needed repairs in all guest rooms
• Inspects all vacant ready rooms at the beginning of the day for condition and possible occupancy
• Lists and itemizes lost and found items. Returns items to guests in accordance with the hotel’s standards
• Reports and delivers valuables found to Reception for safekeeping
• Monitors stock levels of all amenities and advises Manager when necessary to order
• Practice safe working conditions under the Occupational Safety and Health
• Monitors time housekeepers are taking to clean guest rooms and ensures that rooms are ready on time
• Ensures all stayover rooms are cleaned timothy
• All other duties assigned as and when required
