Job Description
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily cleaning operations, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across all assigned areas.
Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and monitor housekeeping staff to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, guests, and staff.
- Inspect work quality and ensure compliance with hospital/hotel hygiene and infection control standards.
- Prepare duty rosters and assign tasks to housekeeping staff for day and night shifts.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and linen, raising purchase requests when needed.
- Train new staff on cleaning procedures, chemical usage, and safety protocols.
- Conduct briefings before each shift and address staff concerns.
