Overview
Performs a variety of heavier housekeeping and housecleaning duties to obtain and maintain desirable appearance, sanitary and orderly conditions throughout the entire facility's building areas, patient rooms, isolation areas, etc.
Responsibilities
Job duties specific to this position:
+ Works under the immediate supervision of the Manager of Support Services and from detailed instructions or prescribed or established routines.
+ Performs all types of heavy duty cleaning as assigned, uses appropriate heavy duty commercial-type vacuums, buffing and shampoo equipment, portable applicators, scrubbing machines, mop buckets, etc.; spot cleans or completely cleans and shampoos carpet areas and furniture; scrubs, strips, wet mops, waxes or otherwise maintains non-carpeted floors and stairways; works off ladders and washes down walls, ceilings, windows, light fixtures, washes doors, mops boards, trash and laundry barrels; c...
