Hotel Assistant Financial Controller

Introduction

A leading hotel group is seeking an experienced Senior Assistant Financial Controller to support the Financial Controller and General Manager in overseeing the Finance and Accounting division.

This strategic role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, statutory compliance, and effective financial leadership across hotel operations.

The successful candidate will play a key role in revenue management, budgeting, forecasting, audit readiness, and team development, while deputising for the Financial Controller when required.

Only Cape Town candidates will be considered.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare and review daily revenue reports across PMS, POS, and Sage 300 / ACCPAC systems

• Reconcile clearing accounts, guest and AR ledgers, refunds, and deposits
