Hospital Coordinator

A unique opportunity is available for a highly motivated and skilled Registered Nurse who has had previous management experience and is ready to undertake a key leadership role of a Hospital Coordinator at a private hospital in Sydney on a part-time basis. POSITION OVERVIEW As the Hospital Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

Supervising safe, quality care that meets current best practice standards;

Supporting and liaising with the respective Nurse Unit Manager(s) of wards and departments;

Assisting with the coordination of staffing;

Managing patient flow and coordinating and planning operational processes;

Coordinating patient admissions and providing discharge planning support;

Supporting the hospital's commitment to quality improvement and the achievement of National Safety & Quality Healthcare Standards;

Maintaining the safety of staff, patients, and visitors.
