Horticultural Technician


Talentmark are recruiting for a Horticultural Technician to join a leading global food brand company on a contract basis for 12-months.

Salary:

£14.85 – £18.59 per hour PAYE

Horticultural Technician Role:

  • Look after plants and greenhouse facilities on a day-to-day basis.
  • Check plants regularly for pests and diseases and apply biological pest control as needed.
  • Monitor, maintain and calibrate the automatic irrigation system and prepare nutrient solutions.
  • Inspect plants held in quarantine for signs of viral and other diseases.
  • Carry out plant propagation and help co-ordinate the export of plant materials.
    • Your Background:
  • Hands-on experience working with plants or trees, whether through a previous role or as part of a course.
  • Good general horticultural knowledge and practical skills.
