Job Summary

Under the direction and supervision of the Home Visiting Supervisor, Program Manager and/or Assistant Home Visiting Supervisor, the Home Visitor will provide ongoing intensive support services, primarily through home visits, to assigned families and/or pregnant women.

Detailed Job Duties

• Establish trusting relationships with assigned families.
• Encourage healthy lifestyle changes.
• Promote & recruit families/pregnant women to the KidsFirst Program.
• Link families to other community supports and services.
• Strengthen parent-child relationships.
• Provide practical support that enables families to meet their goals.
• Transport families to appointments when necessary.
• Help parents to develop a variety of skills including but not limited to, parenting, problem solving and life skills.
