HLTA – Specialist Provision | Gateshead


Do you have the confidence to lead learning and inspire children with additional needs?

A supportive specialist provision in Gateshead is looking for an experienced HLTA to support pupils across multiple sites.

As you'll be travelling between different provisions, driving is an essential requirement for this role.

The role



  • Lead lessons and intervention sessions.
  • Support children with SEND and SEMH needs.
  • Promote positive behaviour and engagement.
  • Help pupils develop confidence both academically and socially.

Essential requirements



  • HLTA qualification or relevant experience.
  • Previous experience supporting SEND or SEMH.
  • Excellent communication skills.
